There is a remake coming in 2017 in which the filming will begin in August 2016 featuring Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton and will be directed by Luca Guadagnino, who directed both Dakota and Tilda in the 2015 erotic french thriller film "A Bigger Splash".
