Rachel is the infant daughter of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who was stolen at birth by Brady's grandfather Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and his cousin Xander Kirakis (Paul Telfer). Rachel was named after Kristen and Brady's mothers: Rachel Blake (Pat Delany) and Isabella Toscano (Staci Greason). Rachel also has a older half brother: Tate Black, who currently lives with his mother Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) in California. After Brady and Kristen learned the truth about their daughter, they were reunited with Rachel after being kidnapped by her former mother Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Now, Brady, Kristen and Rachel are fighting to be together as a family from the charges Kristen is currently facing: For stabbing Victor for orchestrating in the baby switch in the Hospital and the accidental death of Haley Chen (Thia Megia).
