Winona Ryder was secretly seeing Tim Burton to advance Beetlejuice 2
The actress also really wanted a sequel to this cult comedy to see the light of day.
We got all this in the span of a week. Let that sink in
While the original Beetlejuice was rated "PG" back in 1988, #BeetlejuiceBeetlejuice has been rated "PG-13" this week for: "Violent content, macabre and bloody images, strong language, some suggestive material and brief drug use."
The final trailer for Tim Burton’sBeetlejuice Beetlejuice” drops tomorrow πŸͺ²
"i could picture this tiny, formidable woman doing so many things besides working in this beige store in this tiny town." "is she imagining some kind of freedom beyond this place? is hawkins her own personal prison, too?" breaks my heart πŸ˜žπŸ’” (from rebel robin)

Winona Ryder agreed to star in "Stranger Things" on one condition: She'd get to take a break to film "Beetlejuice 2" if it ever happened.

“At the time, Tim [Burton] and I were talking about the ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel. There have been moments over the last 15 years where we thought it was going to happen, but that’s the thing…it had to be perfect with everybody in order for it to happen. I remember at my first meeting with the Duffer Bros. I said, ‘As long as if “Beetlejuice 2″ happens you’ll let me go do that.’ They agreed. Luckily it worked out. That was my one condition.”
