News came yesterday that British actress Wallis Day has been cast as Kate Kane/Batwoman on the CW's Batwoman replacing main star Ruby Rose, who left the show. Rachel Skarsten portrays Kate's twin sister and arch nemesis Elizabeth "Beth" Kane/Alice. Right now, the current new Batwoman is former criminal Ryan Wilder is portrayed by Javicia Leslie.
